Trenton Chapter did a marvelous job of representing the decades by dressing in typical business attire that was fitting of a lady from 1910 to present time.
The Aiken Memorial Day Parade is a longstanding celebration of honoring our veterans and those who serve currently, and Trenton Chapter was there to show their support.
Well done, ladies!!

The United States stands on the eve of a grand anniversary – and DAR is preparing to celebrate in a big way! The National Society has established the America 250! Special Committee to plan DAR’s involvement and maximize its visibility during our nation’s upcoming 250th birthday. Much like the 1976 Bicentennial celebration, this observance provides an exceptional opportunity for community involvement, positive public relations and – most important – membership growth throughout DAR.
View the video below to listen to America 250! Committee National Chair, Lynn Forney Young speak on the initiative and how all chapters can get involved.

Our Patriots, one of the formats of the America 250! initiatives, can be easily celebrated by Trenton members. It involves doing some research on your own Patriot and submitting it to the webmaster to publish on our Trenton NSDAR website.
For additional ideas on how to contribute, as well as a template to format your Patriot’s information, please see the America 250! page on the NSDAR website here:
